Glazer leverages his twenty plus years as a legal and business advisor to boards and management teams to help companies succeed. Glazer’s strengths include actively helping clients with capital formation, structuring technology joint ventures, and providing corporate/business counseling for rapidly expanding start-up, emerging and established technology businesses.
In his role with Sherwood Partners, Glazer draws on the experiences of the first ten years of his career as a restructuring and turnaround specialist and the second ten spent building and launching successful businesses. Glazer takes Sherwood’s leading industry best practices and benchmarks developed over years of restructuring and turnaround deals, and proactively helps companies avoid the same mistakes that have sunk others. Glazer’s experience and the Sherwood methodology that he implements helps companies avoid pitfalls and stay focused on achieving their goals.
Before joining Sherwood Partners in 2002, Glazer founded and co-managed the Northern Virginia office for the law firm of Greenberg Traurig and co-chaired the firm’s national technology practice, which spanned 17 offices from Northern Virginia to California. Throughout his career, Glazer has been actively involved in the day-to-day operation of his clients, structuring and negotiating business transactions and providing focused strategic advice, setting up and sitting on advisory boards, building management teams, and facilitating sales and distribution channels. For over 20 years, he has structured debt and equity financing, totaling hundreds of millions of dollars, and has been a catalyst for launching and growing successful businesses.
Continually leading trends, Glazer also founded and continues to co-chair MindShare, the CEO forum for leading emerging technology companies, which NASDAQ annually graduates and honors at its corporate headquarters. Washington Technology, a subsidiary of The Washington Post, calls MindShare the "hottest invite in town" where "the big joint ventures and partnerships of the future are forming" with "the hottest area technology CEOs."
Glazer serves on numerous company boards, trade associations and community organizations, proudly serving on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington.
