Keynote Speaker: Jeffery Bistrong - Director of Harris Williams & Co.
Mr. Bistrong has engaged in mergers & acquisitions advisory and arranged financing for publicly and privately held companies, corporate divestitures and private equity portfolio companies for over sixteen years. Previous experience includes Principal in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Robertson Stephens, Director and head of the telecommunications investment banking team at Tucker Anthony Sutro (now RBC Capital Markets) and Director in the Media & Communications and Emerging Markets Investment Banking groups at BancBoston Securities. Prior to that, Mr. Bistrong established the automotive industry specialization at Bank of Boston, where he was the OEM relationship manager and global automotive industry portfolio. Mr. Bistrong has extensive cross-border transaction experience in Latin America, Europe and Asia. His first banking position was at National Bank of Detroit.
Mr. Bistrong earned joint M.B.A. and M.A. - Asian Studies degrees from the University of Michigan, studied Politics at the University of York and earned a B.A. with Distinction in Government from Colby College. He lives in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA with his wife and children.
